While this is hopefully beneficial to everyone, our hope is that it also inspires discussion about living the Faith within our homes, between family and friends, young and old.
In addition to our ministries, we must realize the vital role our discussing and exploring the Faith at home with our families.
"My Orthodox Notebook" is an opportunity for a brief reflection during our day. It is an email and attachment (link to blog-site) that provides a short quote, reflection, and resources as footnotes.
The quote will be from either Holy Scripture, Writings of the Saints, Hymnography/Prayers, or information/history of the Church with a short reflection with resources noted for further reading (if desired).
The blog-site is provided so that as time goes on, one can always use it to look back to previous entries.
It is my hope and prayer that through the intercessions of the Theotokos, the Ever-Virgin Mary and the guidance of the Holy Spirit that this is and continues to be something enjoyable, thought provoking, and edifying.
